Construction heating equipment

For over three decades, the knowledgeable and neighbourly team at Cal-Gas Inc. has supplied construction heating for thousands of residential homes, townhouses, high-rise apartment buildings and office towers. As a leader in the construction industry, we were the sole provider of propane in some of the largest building projects across Canada including the Calgary ring road project, bridges, airport expansions, warehouses over 400,000 sq. ft., several hospitals and numerous high rise buildings and large industrial complexes. No other propane company can match our experience and expertise.

Working closely with your team, each of our local area managers and drivers spend time to learn about your organization’s propane needs and requirements so that they can offer great delivery, service and support to your company and local areas.  After close consultation, Cal-Gas Inc. will determine the proper BTU requirements per project, design heating requirements, and install all propane equipment needed (including heaters, vaporizers, valves, hoses, and regulators) per project. We will also, if needed, obtain all installation permits while designing the invoice system that will work for each of your projects to create less work for your entire staff.  We supply propane but we deliver service.

Cal-Gas Inc. provides equipment, fuel and service for temporary heating requirements across a wide range of construction projects. Whether your needs are for new home construction or a large commercial project, Cal-Gas Inc. can provide all the equipment and service.

We have a large portfolio of construction related equipment including a wide range of tanks, mobile wagons, heaters, vaporizers, torches and other equipment.

Construction propane tanks

Cal-Gas Inc. can provide storage tanks from 80 to 30,000 gal, vaporizers and other related equipment to ensure the success of your construction project.  Portable propane cylinders are practical for most applications.  Where increased propane storage is needed, temporary bulk installations - complete with piping - are easily installed and cost effective.

Construction heaters

For every job, big or small, Cal-Gas Inc. rents heaters from 150,000 to 2,000,000 BTU/h. Indirect fired and portable units are also available at certain locations. For fuel storage, we supply 100 lb cylinders and bulk tanks ranging in size from 80 to 18,000 USWG. Every Cal-Gas Inc. heater, cylinder and tank is built to:

• meet the rugged conditions of your construction site

• maintain reliable service in even the coldest weather conditions

• meet or exceed all applicable safety and regulatory standards

Vapour torches

Choose from a variety of sizes and models ranging from 100,000 BTU/h (150 MJ/h) to 450,000 BTU/h (470 MJ/h). Each includes a 20-foot (6-metre) hose and adjustable pressure regulator.

Liquid torches

We offer a variety of models in sizes ranging from 500,000 BTU/h (525 MJ/h) to 2,000,000 BTU/h (2110 MJ/h). Each includes a 20-foot (6-metre) hose with adjustable pressure regulator. Liquid torches should not be used indoors or below grade. A liquid withdrawal cylinder is equipped with a male service thread connection and an internal excess flow.

Space or Wall Heater

Keep your office or lunchroom warm and comfortable with a space or wall heater. We offer a complete line of models in sizes ranging from 20,000 (21 MJ/h) to 50,000 BTU/h (53 MJ/h).

Portable Propane Radiant Heaters

Temporary heat for: construction sites, workshops, agricultural buildings, remodeling jobs, repair shops, loading docks, large open-sided tents, sporting events, sheds/barns, recreation areas.

Vapor and Liquid Propane Torches

(R.O.T) Record of training for safe handling and connection appliances up to and including 400,000 btu available upon request by appointment.
